Seren
Seren is a really conscientious pupil who works hard in all her learning. Seren listens carefully and it is great to see her sharing her ideas more frequently across the curriculum. Seren has shown particular resilience and aspiration in Maths, she works with care and focus to extend her understanding and reflects well on her learning. Seren is becoming a more confident mathematician, but more importantly, shows determination when working on trickier tasks. Well done Seren – super learning and effort!
Hazel
Hazel has been enjoying our class story “Jack and the Beanstalk” this week. She helped us make our own giant beanstalk and then enjoyed being drawn around to make our giant. She has also planted her own bean to see how it grows.
She has also done some brilliant writing, retelling the story.
In maths she has been thinking about doubling numbers and then the more tricky sorting numbers into odd and even.
Well Done Hazel
Isaac J
Isaac you have been working so hard on the presentation of your work, both in Maths and English. You are laying your work out neatly and clearly so that it is now easy to read. You have some very good ideas and are keen to share these, showing us your knowledge and understanding of both the work in class and the world around you. Well done Isaac, I am sure that you can keep this up.
Isaac K
Isaacc has had a super week. He has began the term with a great focus and energy. He has been engaging well in all our lessons especially in his maths lessons where we have been learning all about volume and capacity. He has been contributing well to class discussion and answering questions and giving reasons for his answers using his mathematical language. Well done Isaac- a great start to term 5!
Isabelle
This week Oakleaze Class have been learning about Fractions in our maths lessons. Isabelle always listens carefully and uses her maths knowledge to answer question in class. She then works really hard with great focus in her independent learning. Isabelle uses her times tables knowledge to convert improper to mixed number fractions and to understand equivalent fractions. Well done, Isabelle.
