In our science topic, rocks and fossils, we looked at how rocks weather. We investigated
the effect of acid rain by dripping vinegar onto different sorts of rocks. We discovered that chalk was very soft and the surface of the rock bubbled! We discovered that marble was a good, hard rock and not affected by the acid.
