Station class have been delving deeper into 3D shapes this week. They each tested if a shape would roll or slide down a ramp whilst discussing what kind of sides the rolling shapes had.
We read a story about a little girl who made a home for her kittens. We decided to make our own homes for some clay kittens. We talked about what 3D shapes made for good stacking shapes as kittens do like to climb.
On Friday we went on a 3D shape hunt to start and finished with guessing what shapes were in the bag by discussing the shape and feeling it.
