On World Book Day year 1 children created a wonderful piece of art – their pictures were of both Red Riding Hood in the forest, as in the traditional story, and of Red and the City – a different version of the story. The children used their skills to create a bark effect with cardboard scrapers and paint and cut out newspaper for a city skyline. We hope you agree that the results are great
